Reason #1 for Becoming a Member: Support Angel Animals Story of the Week
The Angel Animals Story of the Week newsletter is emailed FREE to thousands of readers worldwide. It is a labor of love. Every weekend Allen and Linda, with their pet family members Leaf, Cuddles, Speedy, and Sunshine, lovingly
compose the newsletter. (Note: The Angel Animals Story of the Week newsletter will always be free to subscribers whether a member or not. We deeply appreciate and value you as a subscriber to the newsletter! And if you have not yet subscribed and would like to send a blank e-mail message to angelanimals-on@mail-list.com.)
Letters that readers send attest to the newsletter's positive impact. They say that this newsletter is one email they look forward to receiving. It brightens up their entire week.
Here's what a couple of readers have said about the newsletter:
"At 8:00 {PM) Saturday evening on June 11, 2005 was the day when my heart was broken and (always will be). I received a phone call from the vet who informed me my Clover bunny had died. From that day on I searched until I found Angel Animals. I download all your Angel Animal Stories of the Week. I thank you now and always for the comfort and hope they provide."

"I have been receiving the Angel Animals Story of the Week for years now and am very grateful that you both do such wonderful things for animals and the education of people! I love hearing the stories about your pets, especially Leaf, who seems like a joy to have. Thank you again and keep 'em coming. P.S. I have also read your books and have been inspired by your stories."

Reason #2 for Becoming a Member: The Angel Animals Story of the Week Helps to Save Animals' Lives
Readers of the Angel Animals Story of the Week sometimes contact Allen and Linda to ask for help. It's always freely given. Sometimes, this means putting people in touch with organizations that can help them keep their pets or find the medical attention they need.
A disabled dog, who would have been killed in a brutal roundup of strays prior to the G-8 Summit Meeting in St. Petersburg, Russia, found a new home because of the Angel Animals Story of the Week. The dog also received a doggie wheelchair that markedly improved the quality of his life. A story in the newsletter alerted readers to the dog's plight. They rallied to help the disabled dog travel from Russia and
be adopted by a French woman. The touching story was covered by France's largest animal television show and inspired millions of animal lovers.
Although the Angel Animals Story of the Week is provided without charge to the public, it costs money to generate, distribute, and let people know about the newsletter. If you love receiving this newsletter, this is your chance to support it and express appreciation.
Reason #3 for Becoming a Member: Support Angel Animals Network's Fundraising for Animal Welfare
Allen and Linda are constantly finding ways to support animal shelters and animal rescue organizations. They speak at fundraisers and donate books for nonprofit animal organizations' silent auctions.
Each calendar quarter they donate a portion of the proceeds from their book sales and speaking fees to a nonprofit animal charity.
Your donation to become a member of the Angel Animals Network Club will benefit animal organizations, because Allen and Linda will donate a portion of memberships to an animal charity.

Reason #4 for Becoming a Member: Support Angel Animals Network's Growth and Outreach
Allen and Linda are very active on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. They are always reaching out to let more animal lovers know that the Angel Animals Network is a place on the Internet where animal lovers can meet likeminded people, read inspiring stories, and get encouragement for rescuing and adopting animals.
Now Allen and Linda want to reach even more people by bringing their messages to a wider audience and creating deeper connections with Angel Animals Network Club Members.
Allen and Linda plan to add services such as:
teleconferences
webinars
video newsletters
I-Phone apps
audio versions of Angel Animals Story of the Week for download to ipods
social networking for members
New outreach methods will increase visibility while making the Angel Animals Network Club more intimate and connected. All of this costs money to develop, implement, and maintain. Angel Animals Network needs your support to reach more people with new technology.

Reason #5 for Becoming a Member: What Allen and Linda Don't Want to Do
Allen and Linda have been asked many times to accept paid advertising on the newsletter and their website. They have resisted so far.
Even though many pet products and services are excellent, Allen and Linda have been careful not to endorse specific products or services with paid advertising. What works well for one animal or person may not work for another.
Allen and Linda would rather receive support from animal lovers, like you, who read the newsletter, send them stories for publication, and believe that animals are deserving of love, care, and respect.

We will take down information to fill in the membership form and whatever details are necessary for you to donate with your credit card. If you get voicemail when you call, speak slowly and leave your phone number, name, and time zone.
Is my contribution tax deductible?
It has been a conscious choice for the Angel Animals Network to NOT become a nonprofit organization. Allen and Linda feel that they can be more effective by raising money for animal charities, which give direct support to the care and homing of animals, rather than to apply for grants, seek donations, and compete with nonprofits for limited and dwindling funds. Therefore, membership in the Angel Animals Network
Club supports its mission but is NOT tax deductible.
